API-first
Every capability ships as an OpenAPI endpoint — the admin UI is just one client
of the same API you get. Browse the live schema at /docs on any install. If you
can do it in Chonk, you can do it over HTTP.
MCP-native
Chonk runs a Model Context Protocol server exposing typed tools like ask_crm,
semantic_search, and donor_score. That means AI agents don’t screen-scrape your
CRM — they call it, with real arguments and real results.
Embed SDK
Drop a donation form, event signup, or merch store onto your existing website with a single script tag. The embed SDK renders on your domain and posts straight to your Chonk install — no iframe tax, no separate form tool.
Webhooks & connectors
React to anything — a gift, a new member, a lapsed subscription — with webhooks and connectors, so Chonk slots into the rest of your stack instead of replacing all of it at once.
Self-hostable, cloud-agnostic
The whole stack runs from one docker-compose with zero cloud dependencies. Business logic is written against ports, with cloud SDKs tucked behind adapters selected at startup — so Postgres is always plain Postgres, and no provider leaks into your data. Run it on a laptop, a VPS, or your preferred cloud without changing code.
